Job description

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for providing support to Senior Tax and Audit Associates and Managers within the audit and tax departments. Primary duties and responsibilities include assisting with audit, review and compilation engagements as well as tax preparation (individual, corporate, non-profit) and various business consulting services. The Staff Accountant will work closely with senior team members to develop technical skills and gain exposure to a wide range of client engagements. We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of audit and/or tax experience. CPA candidate is a major plus. This is a full-time role and is based in Norwell, MA, with some work from home flexibility after initial introductory period.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 1 -3 years public accounting or relevant experience
• Some knowledge of GAAP and tax code
• Experience with QuickBooks, Pro Systems FX applications, CCH Axcess and Microsoft Office a plus
