Job summary

Goodwin Motor Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant in Brunswick, Maine to join our centralized accounting team. This role supports multiple dealership locations, handles postings, reconciliations, and A/R with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High-volume, fast-paced environment with deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication across multiple dealerships and departments
• Professional appearance and strong work ethic
• Accounting or dealership experience preferred; training offered

Responsibilities

• Post all deals for our Brunswick location and reconcile commissions
• Daily bank reconciliations for all locations
• Manage Accounts Receivable across locations
• Post manufacturer billing invoices and reconcile statements
• Manage various accounting schedules and post adjustments
• Cross-train and back up other accounting positions
