Job summary

Goodwin Chevrolet Mazda - Brunswick in Maine is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our centralized accounting team. You will post deals for the Brunswick location, perform daily bank reconciliations, and manage accounts receivable across five locations within a fast-paced family-owned environment.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Proficient computer skills; accounting/dealership experience preferred, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Post all deals for our Brunswick location and reconcile commissions
• Daily bank reconciliations for all 5 locations
• Manage Accounts Receivable across all locations
• Post the manufacturer billing invoices and reconcile manufacturer statements for all locations
• Manage a variety of accounting schedules and post accounting adjustments as needed
• Cross-training and backup of other accounting positions as needed
