The Office of Research is looking for an accounting and office student assistant.
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Performs administrative functions in support of accounting, compliance, and communications, within the Office of Research. May assist with maintaining sponsored project records, compiling content for newsletters and providing operational and administrative support for research administration activities.
High school diploma or equivalent
Major in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and completion of at least six credit hours of accounting coursework; or one year of experience in accounting, financial, administrative, or related office support functions.
Work will be done on site in Jardine Hall.
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators.
Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
