Job summary

L&M Corrugated Container is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support our accounting operations, with a focus on accounts receivable alongside broader accounting analysis and reporting responsibilities.

This role blends AR duties (about 30%) with general accounting analysis, journal entries, month-end close support, and financial reporting in a growing, family-owned manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP system experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, including comfort following up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations with a blend of accounts receivable work and general accounting analysis.
• Accounts Receivable: apply incoming cash, reconcile customer accounts, generate invoices, monitor aging, resolve discrepancies.
• Accounting Analyst: post journal entries, reconcile accounts, support month-end close, analyze data, prepare management reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain GL records and internal controls, support audits and process improvements.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial data.
