Job summary

CFGI is a leading consulting firm offering accounting advisory services. This role involves working with CFGI professionals, Big 4 auditors, and client management on engagements across various industries.

You will own projects from start to finish, participate in client meetings, and contribute to reports and financial analyses, with flexible office/remote/work locations depending on engagement.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
• Strong technical skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable.
• High energy with commitment to quality client service.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of operational due diligence for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs).
• Accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries.
• Integration with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert on operational senior accounting tasks.
• Preparation of financial and regulatory information per SEC requirements (10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-4).
• Research & documentation on new ASC accounting standards.
• Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.
