Principal Responsibilities:

• Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to corporations and private equity investors.
• Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected operating trends, quality of earnings/assets, pro forma financials, working capital, debt, and potential liabilities impacting valuation and negotiations.
• Work with senior team members on multiple complex engagements simultaneously.
• Coordinate with clients, CFGI teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout transactions.

Skills/Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle multiple requests.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, arrays, PowerPivot, PowerQuery, etc.).
• Willingness to work necessary hours to meet deadlines under pressure.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Minimum eight years of experience in assurance or transaction advisory within a Big Four firm.
• Professional services background.
• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited university.
• Ability to travel up to 20% depending on client needs.
