Job summary

CFGI is seeking a Manager who will work with Fortune 500 and other clients, leading project teams and engaging with clients and their Big 4 auditors on complex engagements. You will own projects from start to finish, mentoring staff and contributing to business development.

You must have 5–8 years in public accounting or related fields and at least 2 years at a Big 4 firm, with strong U.S. GAAP and regulatory knowledge. Flexible office/remote locations are available depending on the engagement.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, consulting, and/or corporate accounting/finance.
Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
Experience applying U.S. GAAP through financial statement preparation, audit engagements, month-end close, financial reporting, or technical accounting research.
Experience leading engagement workstreams, supervising staff, and managing project timelines and deliverables.
Experience reviewing work product and serving as primary client contact.

Responsibilities

Integrate with client’s senior management to solve complex accounting issues and draft proposed resolutions.
Review work by consultants on operational due diligence for transactions (acquisitions/divestitures, IPOs, debt raises).
Coordinate and review SEC/regulatory filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S-4.
Conduct research and documentation on new ASC accounting standards.
Lead process improvement projects and mentor consultants in the firm.
