Class Description

Responsibilities
- Teach day and evening accounting classes at the Community College of Baltimore County.
- Prepare and deliver instruction in accordance with department standards.
- Cooperate with college support staff by timely submission of teaching materials as required.
- Coordinate activities with the Department Chair or coordinator.
- Attend department meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Be available to students outside of class for academic support.
Qualifications
- An earned master’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree in business with at least 18 graduate credits in accounting.
- Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license.
- Two years of professional experience in the accounting field (preferred).
- Two years of teaching experience at the college level (preferred).
Pay and Location
Pay Level: $1085 per credit hour
Campus Locations: Essex, Catonsville & Owings Mills
