The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a procurement specialist to manage the acquisition of classes and services. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience in procurement.
This position offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, tuition assistance, and paid leave. The ideal candidate will develop solicitation processes and liaise effectively with vendors and college departments.
The purpose of this class is to manage the acquisition of classes, commodities and services through the competitive solicitation process, informal quote process, intergovernmental cooperative purchase agreements and State and local government contracts.
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of related experience or Associate’s Degree and five years of related experience required, such as: preparing and conducting solicitations, evaluating bids and proposals, knowledge of and compliance with procurement rules and regulations; knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications and financial management systems.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Emotional, drug/alcohol abuse treatment, both inpatient and outpatient, provided when pre‑approved. Premium included in medical care plan.

Tuition AssistanceEligible full‑time employees may qualify for waiver or reimbursement programs. Employees are eligible for Tuition Assistance and become eligible for the external Tuition reimbursement program the first semester after one calendar year of employment.
