Job summary

MGM Resorts at National Harbor, MD is seeking an Accountant III to handle GAAP accounting duties, monthly statements, and reconciliations. You will implement internal controls and contribute to ad-hoc projects while maintaining accuracy across reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with at least two years of relevant experience and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and X-Lookup; COUPA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, X-Lookup).
• At least two years of prior accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with COUPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record transactional activity in the general ledger accurately and promptly.
• Evaluate internal controls to ensure processes operate effectively.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects requested by management.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to MGM Resorts policies.
