Job summary

MGM Resorts International in National Harbor, Maryland, is seeking an Accountant III who will handle varied accounting functions and assist with monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP. You will also prepare balance sheet reconciliations and participate in ad-hoc projects for management.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, at least 2 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with COUPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or equivalent.
• Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, X-Lookup, etc.).
• At least two (2) years of prior relevant accounting/finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Record transactional activity in the general ledger in a timely, accurate manner.
• Evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure effective processes.
• Provide reporting on financial data, including ad-hoc and routine requests.
