Job summary

MGM National Harbor, part of MGM Resorts International, is seeking an Accountant III to perform varied accounting functions including monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad-hoc projects in support of management.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, at least two years’ accounting experience, strong Excel (Pivot Tables, X-Lookup) and COUPA knowledge. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management or equivalent.
• At least two years of prior accounting or finance experience.
• Proficient to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, X-Lookup).
• Experience using COUPA.

Responsibilities

• Record transactional activity timely and accurately in the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc accounting projects.
