Job summary

Baranov CPA Professional Corporation offers fully remote accounting roles serving US and Canadian eCommerce clients. You will manage full-cycle accounting, perform bank reconciliations in QuickBooks Online and Xero, and communicate with clients to resolve items while delivering monthly statements and performance analysis.

The role requires flawless English, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero, strong Excel skills, and experience with US/Canadian firms.

Qualifications

• Perfect spoken and written English.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with US & Canada.
• Track record of working remotely and independently.
• Availability to work in Eastern Time zone Mon-Fri 8 am - 4 pm with minimal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for the assigned set of clients.
• Reconcile bank accounts in QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Communicate with clients regarding outstanding accounting and bookkeeping items.
• Provide monthly financial statements and performance analysis.
• Prepare and file Canadian sales tax reports (GST/HST/PST/QST).
• Prepare and file US sales tax reports.
• Process payroll according to the client’s schedule.
• Continuously improve accounting and reporting processes for the clients.
• Review work from other team members and provide commentary.
