Job summary

Count myAccount is hiring for remote bookkeeping and accounting roles. Manage a portfolio of small-business clients with monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, GST/HST filings, payroll, and year-end working papers. Work fully remote from anywhere in Canada and control your schedule.

Selection includes review, phone chat, online assessment, interview, and references; platform training and ongoing support are provided to help grow your client portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Canadian small-business bookkeeping or accounting.
• Confident in QuickBooks Online or Xero, GST/HST filings, and payroll.
• Eligible to work in Canada as an independent contractor.
• Reliable internet and a private, distraction-free workspace with client confidentiality (PIPEDA).
• Year-round availability for monthly client work.

This is a remote position. Count myAccount provides tax, accounting, and payroll services to individuals and small businesses across Canada - one accountable team, clear steps, no surprises.

We are hiring Bookkeepers and Accountants as year-round independent contractors. You manage a portfolio of small-business clients on our platform: monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations, GST/HST filings, payroll runs, and year-end working papers. Steady monthly work, fully remote, and you control your schedule.

How selection works: application review, a short phone conversation, an online assessment (about 60 minutes; includes brief webcam snapshots for integrity - your screen is never recorded), an interview, and references. Clear steps. No surprises.
