Job summary

Greif is seeking an Accountant to support internal accounting processes in a dynamic team. You will prepare and reconcile journal entries, ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance, and participate in monthly and quarterly close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 0–2 years of experience.
• Solid GAAP and GAAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all local, state, federal and government accounting and financial regulations.
• Maintains journal entries in the computer system.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts and reviews trial balance for accuracy.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and closing activities.
• Assists in the preparation and filing of information with the SEC.
