HICO America is seeking a General Accountant to support financial operations, maintain ledgers, prepare entries, and assist in audits and budgeting. The role emphasizes accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS, with a focus on reliable records and timely closing.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in accounting and finance, 2+ years experience, strong Excel skills, and may have SAP experience and Korean language proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of both GAAP and IFRS
• Proficiency in Excel
• Fluency in Korean is preferred.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• CPA certification or working towards it
• Proficiency in SAP
• Fluency in Korean language

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Coordinate with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Maintain and reconcile 70+ corporate credit cards
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Maintain organized records and documentation for all financial activities
