Job summary

MHP - A Porsche Company in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage day‑to‑day general ledger tasks, AR/AP processes, fixed assets, and monthly close activities. The role requires strong SAP experience (R/3 FI) and solid knowledge of USGAAP/IFRS, with attention to accuracy and deadlines.

The candidate will contribute to intercompany reconciliations, invoicing, and monthly reporting while collaborating with Finance & Administration Germany.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (concentration in Accounting) preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (General Ledger, AR, AP, Cash Management).
• Experience working in an international and cross‑cultural environment.
• Big Four accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Project accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP/R3 (FI) required.
• Experience with SAP BW, SAP CRM preferred.
• Basic knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS Accounting, and US Tax.
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day general ledger accounting, including journal entry preparation and related reporting in Bank/Cash, Prepaids, Accruals, Payroll, Benefits, and Intercompany / Related Party processes.
• Maintenance of Accounts Receivable SL and reconciliation to GL – AR management, collection, and application of funds received.
• Fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and reporting.
• Monthly accrual accounting.
• Bank entries and bank account reconciliations.
• Maintain daily and monthly cash flow file.
• Assist in monthly accounting close procedures and schedule.
• Preparation of monthly flux analysis.
• Assist in monthly reporting to the Group Accounting.
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
• Support monthly contract or performance‑related invoicing of projects.
• Close cooperation with Finance & Administration Germany.
• Backup for accounts payable and vendor payment subsidiary ledger; posting invoices, coding and travel expenses; reconciling corporate card statements.
• Backup for Order Management Accountant and Intercompany Accounting and Reconciliation, as needed.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects and reporting.
• Promote continuous improvement within the division and internal projects.
