Job summary

Sentara Health Administration, Inc. is seeking an Accountant in Norfolk, VA to record routine and non-recurring accounting entries, reconcile accounts to the general ledger, and prepare and review financial statements and reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, at least two years of accounting experience, and CPA is preferred; expert-level Excel is required. The role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
• 2 years of related experience in Accounting required.
• Experience with Journal Entries, Accounts Reconciliation to GL, Financial Statements and Reports.
• Certified Public Accountant is preferred.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $65,665.60 - $99,507.20 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
