Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or finance.
• 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• 5 years of related accounting experience required.
• Healthcare or public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including GL and month-end close.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal control adherence.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders on reports.

This role provides direct supervision to accounting staff, supports month-end close activities, and partners with finance leadership to maintain efficient, high-quality accounting processes across clinical and non-clinical entities.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activitiesReview and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and complianceEnsure adherence to GAAP, healthcare accounting standards, and organizational policiesSupport preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsAssist with annual audits, cost reports, and regulatory filings; serve as a key contact for auditorsMonitor internal controls and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce riskProvide guidance, coaching, and performance management for assigned accounting staffCoordinate workload distribution and prioritize deadlines to meet reporting requirementsCollaborate with finance, revenue cycle, supply chain, payroll, and operational leaders to resolve accounting issuesSupport system initiatives such as new entity onboarding, system conversions, or process standardizationEducationBachelor’s degree (Required)Certification/LicensureCertified Professional Accountant (CPA) (Preferred but not required)Experience1 year of supervisory experience (Required)5 years of related experience (Required)Experience with client server based financial systems (Preferred)Healthcare and/or public accounting experience (Preferred)We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $93,620.80 - $142,396.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
