Job summary

Sentara Health Administration, Inc. is seeking a Sr Accountant Broker to prepare, analyze, and adjust financial statements for management presentation.

The role entails creating work papers, schedules, and reconciliations, and reviewing key financial indicators against budget and historical results. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in finance or accounting, a Master's or CPA preferred, and advanced Excel with Access/SQL reporting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration will be considered in lieu of required experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Access and SQL Reporting strongly preferred for this position.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $83,699.20 - $123,406.40 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
