Job summary

HaFSBX in Minnesota is seeking an Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role blends daily accounting operations—AR, AP, and credit card management—with core responsibilities like month-end close and reconciliations.

If you are detail-oriented and proactive, you''ll enjoy working across the business to drive financial accuracy and process improvements. The starting salary is $62,000 to $70,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience with exposure to AR, AP, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (MS Dynamics 365 BC, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with sales tax is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payment application, aging reports, and collections follow-up.
• Accounts Payable: process invoices, ensure coding/approvals, and prepare payments.
• Company Credit Cards: issue cards, review expenses, ensure compliance, and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support process improvement or accounting automation.
• Collaborate with teams across the business to resolve issues.

About the Role
