Job summary

D&H Distributing, an employee-owned technology distributor, is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle various accounting functions including journal entries and account reconciliations. This hybrid role can be based in either Harrisburg, PA or Tampa, FL.

Summary

The Staff Accountant assumes responsibility for various accounting functions such as recording journal entries, account reconciliations, general ledger account analysis and reporting, and the monthly close process.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Journal Entries
• General ledger account reconciliations
• General ledger account analysis and reporting
• Quick resolution of accounting questions
• Monitor accounting policies and procedures as it pertains to the job
• Special Projects as assigned

Requirements

• Required bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a professional environment
• In depth knowledge of accrual accounting concepts, journal entries and analysis
• Excel proficiency, Access a plus
• Skilled in working with computers and automated accounting systems (Microsoft AX a plus)
