Job summary

Godshall Recruiting is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily AP/AR activities, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close. You will monitor customer accounts, perform collections, and maintain accurate records while building toward future leadership opportunities.

You will collaborate with leadership, learn the company's proprietary systems, and develop a broad understanding of business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and collections.
• Hands-on accounting mindset with the desire to learn all aspects of the business.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in financial reporting and recordkeeping.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Long-term career mindset with an interest in growing into future accounting leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring financial data is complete and reliable.
• Learn and utilize the company’s proprietary accounting and business systems to support daily operations.
• Partner with leadership and internal departments to gain a broad understanding of business processes and prepare for future leadership responsibilities.
