Job summary

The Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is seeking an Account Support Representative in Norfolk, VA to deliver outstanding customer service and support our Key Account team. From order placement through delivery, you will own the customer experience, track shipments, enter POs, and communicate with vendors and internal partners.

You will collaborate with Accounts Payable/Receivable, assist with administrative tasks, and help protect margins through careful order management and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial sales is a plus.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage promise dates and track shipments.
• Enter Purchase Orders to vendors via email or online entry.
• Primary contact for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable regarding open issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries and order status requests.
• Coordinate with warehouse to process freight claims and shipping logistics.
• Daily review of invoicing to identify margin loss and manage open order reports.
• Assist Managers and Key Account Specialists with other administrative tasks.
