Job summary

Campbell Marketing & Communications is seeking an Account Supervisor to manage one or more accounts, lead cross-functional teams, and drive marketing initiatives from concept to execution. The role involves client consultation, budgeting, and collaboration with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 5+ years in marketing communications or related fields and a bachelor’s degree. The role is hybrid, with three days onsite and some remote work, based in Michigan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing communications or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in marketing communications, public relations or related fields.
  • Ability to evaluate creative work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure deliverables align with objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages one or more accounts and provides high-quality client services through strategic consultation, project leadership, and oversight of internal cross-functional teams.
  • Leads integrated marketing initiatives from kickoff through execution, coordinating creative, digital, social, events, production, and external partners.
  • Develops project timelines, manages deliverables, identifies risks, and drives projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Builds and maintains strong client relationships through clear communication, sound judgment, and proactive problem solving.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership on campaign planning, go-to-market strategies, presentations, and program recommendations.
  • Manages account financials, including estimates, budgets, billing activity, and project profitability.
  • Serves as mentor or trainer for less senior staff.
  • Completes additional duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and all other company policies.

General Summary

Under general supervision, the Account Supervisor assumes responsibility for managing all aspects of one or more accounts and programs, including client consulting, integrated marketing initiatives, project management and account development. Serve as a primary client contact and leads cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through execution. Works independently to identify next steps, solve problems and keep work moving forward in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Thrives in a collaborative environment where priorities evolve and team members are expected to contribute across a variety of programs and initiatives. May participate in client planning and strategy sessions.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Knowledge of principles of marketing communications, normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Five or more years’ experience in marketing communications, public relations or other related fields.
  • Ability to evaluate creative work, provide thoughtful, constructive feedback, and ensure deliverables align with strategic objectives, brand standards, and client expectations.

Additional Information
  • The company is currently working on a hybrid basis—three (3)days onsite and remaining days remote—though this position may require more than two days onsite some weeks.
  • A valid driver’s license and clear driving record are required.
  • This is a U.S.-based/Michigan-based position.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Salary range starts at: $61,072.00 – annually. Negotiable, based on experience.
  • Travel: Will require some travel, including weekend and evening hours.
  • Work environment: May also require some physical activities such as standing and/or walking for extended periods of time and the ability to lift event supplies up to 50lbs.
