Job description

Cannonball is seeking a strong, experienced Account Supervisor to join our team.

The Account Supervisor will provide account leadership across local market communication execution as well as corporate, divisional, brand and performance marketing support. This role helps ensure enterprise-level priorities are translated into clear work plans, consistent marketing execution and high-quality deliverables across paid, owned and earned channels.

This position is designed to support a large national account with a high volume of marketing needs, including corporate campaign support, brand positioning, paid media, CRM/email, website updates, SEO, social, collateral, signage, onsite assets, corporate programs, internal communications, PR/media coordination and launch support.

This role requires polished internal and external leadership, strong project management instincts, a proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through a high volume of tactical and strategic deliverables.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

Serve as a senior account lead for national and regional-level marketing execution, ensuring work is organized, accurate, on brand and aligned to client priorities.

  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders while supporting day-to-day alignment across brand, performance, sales and marketing needs.
  • Partner with media teams on full-funnel paid media planning and activation
  • Support media by acting as an interface with creative on messaging development and participating in performance discussions to glean insights.
  • Lead planning for launches, promotional sequencing, events, sales communications, web updates, email support, paid media creative, social content, collateral, signage and onsite marketing assets.
  • Support CRM and lifecycle marketing workflows, including email strategy, builds, QA/testing, scheduling, deployment, list segmentation and promotional or triggered communications through HubSpot or other approved platforms.
  • Coordinate website and digital experience support, including content updates, SEO recommendations, landing page needs, CTA or promotional graphics, UTM coordination, conversion tracking and weekly updates tied to business and sales priorities.
  • Partner with social teams on channel strategy, editorial calendars, content development, publishing coordination, performance summaries, market templates, community management guidance and issue escalation.
  • Support corporate programs and enterprise initiatives, helping define deliverables, timing, rollout needs and cross-team responsibilities.
  • Support internal communications and PR/media coordination, including meeting materials, presentation templates, decks, rollout messaging, media inquiry filtering and coordination with the brand team on responses.
  • Guide and support in managing timelines, approvals, feedback, budgets, estimates, status reporting and final delivery.
  • Partner with creative, media, CRM, social, web, SEO, analytics, production and vendor teams to maintain quality, consistency and efficient workflow across high-volume workstreams.
  • Consolidate complex or multi-stakeholder feedback into clear next steps and support client-ready recommendations when priorities, timelines or scope need to shift.
  • Ensure deliverables are QA checked for brand consistency, accuracy, specs, version control and readiness for client, media partner, vendor, deployment or publishing handoff.
  • Monitor competitive, market and performance context to help inform practical recommendations, campaign optimizations and quarterly planning.
  • Oversee account financials including billing, estimates, project tracking, vendor documentation, scope awareness and change-order considerations when volumes or deliverables shift.
  • Supervise and mentor team members; travel as needed in support of client needs and projects.
  • Support corporate brand positioning and campaign development, including messaging, promotional periods, campaign rollout planning, brand standards, CRM campaign support, blog/content collaboration and naming or logo needs.
  • Translate strategic direction, brand positioning, research insights and sales priorities into actionable briefs, work plans, creative direction and client-ready recommendations for cross-functional teams.
Ideal Candidates Should Possess the Following Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or similar.
  • Minimum of 5 years agency account service experience required.
  • Must live in the St Louis metro area. This position requires 3 days a week in the Cannonball office.
Preferred Experience Includes
  • Experience leading high-volume integrated marketing programs with multiple stakeholders, deadlines, markets and deliverable types.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to internal teams and external clients.
  • Highly organized, proactive and comfortable prioritizing work across corporate initiatives, divisions and campaign needs.
  • Ability to understand and coordinate across paid media, CRM/email, social, web/SEO, analytics, collateral, signage, production and vendor workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Experience supporting campaign development, brand positioning, performance marketing, SEO, CRM/email, social content, web coordination, collateral, signage, print production and vendor coordination.
  • Experience with integrated campaign rollout, performance reporting, client presentations, internal communications, PR/media coordination or corporate program support.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior team members and maintain client confidence in a fast-moving environment.
