Job summary

Pacific Office Automation in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking an Account Resolution Specialist to join our team. This full-time onsite role involves communicating with customers to resolve past-due balances and coordinating with sales and leadership to reach timely resolutions.

No prior collections experience is required; we are willing to train the right person who is organized, persistent, and customer-focused. Compensation reflects DOE and encourages growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to customers regarding past-due accounts.
• Review aging reports and monitor outstanding balances.
• Document account activity, customer interactions, and collection efforts accurately.
• Work directly with customers to identify and resolve account discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate professionally and use sound judgment when interacting with customers, vendors, coworkers, and management.
• Partner with sales teams and senior leadership to resolve accounts.
• Take ownership of challenging situations to drive timely resolutions.
• Maintain positive customer relationships while managing collection efforts.

About the Position

Our fast-paced Beaverton, Oregon office is looking for an Account Resolution Specialist to join our team.

No prior collections experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right person! We're looking for someone who is confident, organized, persistent, and comfortable communicating with customers to help resolve outstanding account balances.

What You'll Do

• Make outbound calls to customers regarding past-due accounts

• Partner with sales teams and senior leadership when additional support is needed to resolve accounts
• Take ownership of challenging situations and work toward timely resolutions
• Maintain positive customer relationships while effectively managing collection efforts

Preferred, But Not Required

• 2+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
• Experience working with aging reports or customer account resolution
