Job summary

Jeremy Hooter - State Farm Agent is seeking an Account Representative to support daily operations, grow the agency, and serve customers by connecting needs with appropriate products.

You will develop leads, manage relationships, and provide friendly service with a schedule that supports a balanced work-life and opportunities for advancement. Compensation ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent 15 years as a home builder, and I’ve also served as an active law enforcement officer for 20 years. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University and am a married father of two. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, hunting, long-distance and clay shooting, and occasionally getting out on the golf course.

Our agency offers paid time off, paid holidays, and licensing costs paid up front. We also prioritize work-life balance with a 35-hour workweek. Our regular schedule is 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with a one-hour lunch each day.

Role Description

As an Account Representative for Jeremy Hooter - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
• Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
• Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
• Dedicated to customer service.
• Able to anticipate customer needs.
• Able to effectively relate to customers.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
