Job summary

DCM Services seeks an Account Representative I to resolve accounts for deceased individuals, coordinating with estates, attorneys and family representatives. This remote role supports a Minnesota-based team while serving clients nationwide with empathy and accuracy.

You will handle calls, gather estate details, negotiate payment plans, and ensure proper documentation and letter correspondence. A professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Goal-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Courteous, empathic, and professional telephone manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a regulated environment.
• Team-oriented but able to work independently.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
• Licensed Debt Collector or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Generate outbound calls and field incoming calls.
• Obtain estate information and follow up with attorneys or personal representatives regarding claim filing.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up as needed.
• Send confirmation and settlement letters as required.
• Document accounts and notate files with correct transaction codes.
• Respond to voicemail messages daily.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and client-specific requirements.
• Uphold company information security and privacy responsibilities.
