Job summary

SWARCO McCain, Inc. seeks an Account Administrator to handle routine customer inquiries, order changes, and service-related communications. You will acknowledge orders, advise on substitutions, statuses, and back orders while coordinating with internal teams.

The role requires strong customer service experience, ability to read plans, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, with construction/electrical sales background preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service.
• Background in construction or electrical sales is strongly preferred.
• Technical product aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to read building plans or specifications is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized, multi-tasking, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with assigned accounts/customers about delivery status and terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams for new part numbers as needed.
• Process sales orders and revisions.
• Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) forms.
• Create and manage Job Closing Reports for billing accuracy.
• Create CRM project folders, organize plans/specifications, post addenda.
• Prepare Caltrans and City of Los Angeles inspection documentation.
