Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Supervisor II Account in Gordonville, VA to lead drivers for assigned accounts, address service issues, and ensure shipments meet customer needs. You will provide proactive problem resolution daily to improve satisfaction, retention, utilization, and safety.

Responsibilities include promoting safety metrics, coaching drivers, coordinating with teams on loads, and ensuring on-time service while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations impacting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop drivers for assigned accounts; address customer service issues or complaints; ensure shipments meet customer needs and demands.
• Provide best course of action solutions for problem resolution on a daily basis to improve customer satisfaction, retention, utilization, and safety.
• Proactively promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup, deadhead, and weekly assignments.
• Utilize coaching to improve driver performance and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
