Job summary

Arrowhead Automotive seeks an Account Manager Trainee to support producers, manage client policies, and assist with renewals and endorsements. You will work in a hybrid environment and gain knowledge to advance in insurance account management.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and strong communication as you handle policy changes, billing issues, and renewal processes in coordination with underwriters and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and zero to two years related experience in the insurance industry.
• High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks in required timeframes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• State Property and Casualty license is required within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative support to producers as first point of contact for customers.
• Compile data, perform routine tasks, and process renewals and endorsements to support underwriting.
• Manage client policies with accuracy in the agency management system by handling policy changes and billing issues.
• Renew and remarket an existing book of business, prepare renewal materials and proposals, and work with underwriters on quotes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AT ARROWHEAD

In this position, you will develop the knowledge and skills to provide technical and advanced administrative support to our producers. You will also develop the knowledge and ability to provide consultation and technical support as thefirst point of contact for customers. Additionally, you will compile data, perform routine and non-routine tasks, and processes renewals and endorsements to support the underwriting process.

Client Management

You will provide an outstanding client experience focusing on daily policy management duties like:

• Review in-force policies for current clients making sure forms, endorsements, policy changes, billing and other data are accurate in our agency management system (Applied/EPIC).
• Personally manage higher level changes. Our CSR group handles most of the COIs but if something is mission critical (e.g. a change in location) we want your expertise to take care of it.
• Handle billing related issues and work directly with Accounting to address past due balances.

Marketing

A big piece of hitting the ground from Day One in this role is renewing and remarketing an existing book of business.

• Renewal marketing prep includes updating policy information, gathering loss reports, processing renewal information received from our clients, and completing applications/submissions.
• Working with insurance company underwriters to receive timely and accurate quotes.
• Preparing renewal presentations and proposals, and binding/reissuing policies.

EXPERIENCE WE NEED IN THIS ROL?

• Bachelor's degree and zero to two years related experience in the insurance industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks and assignments in required timeframes.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• State Property and Casualty license is required within the first 90 days of employment.
