Blacksmith Agency is a remote digital agency focusing on paid media, SEO, CRO and web for marketing-led brands. As Account Director you own an established book of recurring agency clients. Our sales team wins new clients; you keep them and grow them.

This is a full-time, remote role (USA or Canada) with a seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells. You will work closely with strategists and delivery teams to ensure clients hear one clear voice.

Qualifications

• Agency account management experience in marketing, digital, creative or advertising.
• Track record of keeping clients and selling more work with measurable results.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

What You Will Own

• Retention across your book: the relationship, the renewal and the early warning when an account is drifting.
• Upsells and expansion: finding the next project inside each client and selling it.
• A seven-figure annual quota across retention and upsells.
• Working with the strategists and delivery team who run the work, so the client hears one clear voice.

What You Need

• Agency account management experience. Marketing, digital, creative or advertising agency. This is a must.
• A record of keeping clients and selling them more work, with numbers you can walk us through.
• Comfort carrying a quota.
• Clear, calm communication with senior client stakeholders.

Base plus commission, split 50/50.
