Applied Industrial Technologies seeks an Account Manager to grow an established territory in the United States, Ebensburg area. The role combines client management with a consultative sales process for a leading industrial distributor.

You will build and maintain relationships across levels from CEO to shop-floor staff, developing new business while expanding existing accounts and meeting sales goals. This is a relationship-based sales role with uncapped earnings potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years proven outside industrial sales experience with a tangible product.
• Proven success in developing new business and managing a sales territory.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Grow territory and earnings by bringing in new business and developing repeat relationships.
• Call on engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others using a consultative approach.
• Prepare quotations and proposals, negotiate terms, and close transactions.
• Organize and conduct training sessions for customers.
• Survey market and competitive conditions.
• Complete reports on itineraries, expenses, calls, and leads.
• Monitor orders, address complaints, and coordinate deliveries as needed.
