Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Belfast, ME is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive account performance. The role involves completing deliveries and pickups, building relationships, and supporting sales growth.

You will maintain showroom standards, handle in-home service calls, process early-stage collections, and uphold safety and operational guidelines while working full-time, Monday-Saturday with Sunday off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1-6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers' homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
