Job summary

HUB International in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Account Manager II to support health and welfare programs. You will manage day-to-day account-service processes, work with Producers and HUB colleagues, and serve as the primary client contact for enrollment, billing and benefit administration.

As part of the Employee Benefits Account Management team, you will build client relationships, analyze plans, present data, and coordinate with carriers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of benefit insurance account management experience
• Life & Health license or willingness to obtain
• Strong knowledge of ACA, COBRA and HIPAA concepts

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the account-service process
• Coordinate with Producers on client service, marketing, and renewal
• Act as client contact for eligibility, claims, billing and benefits
• Maintain accurate account files and update systems
• Provide data-driven recommendations to clients on changes in the industry
• Lead implementation of new and renewal plans
• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Assist with billing issues and reconciliations
• Partner with producers on benefits strategy
