Job summary

FM Global is seeking an Account Manager I–II to manage key clients and brokers in a client service‑driven role. You will nurture relationships, apply underwriting knowledge, and lead the client service team to deliver targeted value and risk management guidance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering and business development to protect assets and grow accounts, with a strong focus on loss prevention and financial acumen in property insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; CPCU or ARM desired but not required.
• 3–5+ years FM Global experience or industry experience in servicing/underwriting large property accounts.
• Strong understanding of property loss prevention concepts.
• Familiarity with FM Global's client service process helpful.
• Knowledge of property insurance, financial documents, and business software.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and brokers to build long‑term customer dedication.
• Ensuring profitability by retaining existing customers on equitable terms using FM Global capacity.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of our products to deliver tailored client value.
• Providing leadership to the client service team with professional advice on insurance and risk management.
• Supporting risk reduction strategies in collaboration with engineering and client service.
• Working with Business Development Executives to win new client accounts through underwriting expertise.
• Adhering to underwriting guidelines and cross liability management.
