Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr

Our premiere wholesale houseware / home product client, is seeking dynamic account managers to join their team with experience in strategic account relationships with background ideally working with Walmart and/or Target retailers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage customer account relationships
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Maximize sales profitability, growth and account penetration with current accounts
  • Analyze and identify market trends to assess opportunities
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role with Walmart!
  • Experience and understand of the housewares industry are a plus
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint)
