Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Account Manager to join its Commercial sales team in Chicago. You will leverage a strong brand, award-winning training, and an uncapped commission structure to drive growth across diverse industries.

You will build trusted relationships, prospect new business, and deliver tailored pest solutions while maintaining safety and professionalism. The role offers a company vehicle, medical benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; sales or CRM experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain appropriate pesticide license/certification (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers using training to recommend the best solution.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer’s property; training provided.
• Make recommendations based on inspection, address questions, and set expectations for pest program.
• Use the iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized; training provided.
