Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Mount Airy, NC is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account performance. The role includes arranging deliveries and pickups, building relationships, and supporting sales growth.

You will conduct early-stage collections, maintain showroom standards, and follow safety guidelines while representing RAC in-store and in customers' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1-6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers' homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
