Rent-A-Center in Michigan is seeking an Account Manager to manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive account performance by securing payments and growing rental agreements. The role includes deliveries, pickups, and maintaining showroom standards.

The position emphasizes building strong customer relationships, following RAC values, and providing white-glove service in-store and at customers’ homes. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunity for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
