Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Account Manager to oversee rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, drive account performance, and support sales growth. This role includes completing deliveries and pickups, maintaining showroom standards, and building strong relationships while adhering to RAC values.

You will also participate in early-stage collections and help secure payments, with opportunities for advancement within a company that promotes from within.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide strong customer service.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Able to manage time and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of rental accounts and maintain relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using management tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove service in-store, by phone, and at customers' homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport and install merchandise and maintain showroom standards.
• Adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
