What You’ll Do

You will support business growth, profitability, and client retention by managing accounts within our Employee Benefits Sales and Service office, focusing on groups with 500-4999 lives. Responsibilities include developing relationships, managing administrative issues, renewal negotiations, and promoting additional coverage options.

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with policyholders and producers.
  2. Act as liaison for plan improvements and administrative issues.
  3. Organize pre-renewal visits and present renewal strategies.
  4. Monitor renewal activity and prepare renewal presentations.
  5. Negotiate rates and plan provisions with clients and prospects.
  6. Identify opportunities for additional sales and plan improvements.
  7. Manage proposal requests and presentations.
  8. Support acquisition and implementation of new accounts.
  9. Coordinate submission and setup of new groups.
  10. Facilitate enrollment processes.
  11. Mentor team members on service issues.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of group insurance account management experience for 500+ lives.
  • Life and Disability insurance licenses for all states in the territory.
  • Personal vehicle with adequate insurance and a safe driving record.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ability to lead change and advocate for innovation.
