What We’re Looking For

The Account Manager is the primary contact for clients, responsible for client satisfaction, providing excellent service, and building relationships to encourage new and repeat business.

A Glimpse Into Your Day
  • Serve as a client advocate and main contact for accounts.
  • Develop and understand the client’s core business.
  • Lead projects, meetings, and deliverables using account management tools.
  • Manage client expectations and needs.
  • Handle engagement letters, scope of services, and project timelines.
  • Establish carrier/vendor relationships for administration tasks.
  • Resolve client issues promptly and delegate support tasks as needed.
  • Manage RFP processes, compile and review information, and prepare reports.
  • Analyze market data, review vendor contracts, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Review claims data, analyze trends, and prepare reports.
  • Generate sales through existing clients and referrals, introducing other services.
  • Share survey data insights with clients and suggest process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Life Accident & Health License (must be maintained).
  • Advanced professional designation (e.g., CEBS, CBP) preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; four-year degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years’ account management experience in insurance, focusing on Accident and Health coverage.
  • Knowledge of insurance markets, products, and underwriting procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and online rating systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to travel, and reliable transportation.

The salary range for this role is $42,618.00 - $90,577.00, based on various factors including experience, skills, and location. Participation in a discretionary annual incentive program may be available.
