Your Role : As a Benefits Consultant - Remote, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health and welfare, and wellness programs such as health insurance, life and disability, HSA, FSA, and health support and wellness initiatives.
You will assist and/or lead the development and design of benefit plans, programs, and procedures, and lead in their implementation. You will make recommendations to offer cost-effective and competitive employee benefits. Responding to complex inquiries from employees and dependents regarding eligibility, claims, appeals, benefit plan provisions, policies, and ERISA regulations will be part of your responsibilities.
You will develop and implement new regulatory policies and procedures, provide guidance and training to team members, and work with legal counsel, payroll, outside vendors, and auditors to resolve issues. You will perform accurate and timely plan filings, amendments, and notifications in accordance with laws and regulations.
You will also develop company-wide and custom benefits and wellness communications and activities, including new hire training, ISP information, and new program implementation.
