Job summary

The Greenbrier Companies, Inc. in Lake Oswego, Oregon is seeking an Account Manager for the Customer Excellence Team.

You will support customer relationships, manage day-to-day account activities, and coordinate solutions with internal partners to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement. This role requires at least a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in account management or customer service, plus strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, supply chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of account management, customer relationship management, or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
• Ability to independently manage moderately complex assignments and prioritize competing demands.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills within established policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Independently manage routine account activities and communications within established practices.
• Analyze customer needs and service requirements to determine actions and coordinate solutions.
• Triage and research inbound inquiries in Salesforce with internal collaboration for timely resolutions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
• Coordinate asset programs and new car delivery programs, managing milestones and expectations.
• Resolve customer inquiries and service issues using established procedures and data.
