Qualifications

Overview

Our Lancaster, PA office is hiring. We are looking for a remote Insurance professional to service our Construction book of business. You will provide advanced client support, including comprehensive account management for a book of business, from proposal through evaluation of risk and industry changes. The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion and is responsible for developing others through formal and informal leadership and mentoring. In accordance with the seniority of the role, the Account Manager possesses advanced product, carrier, and underwriting knowledge and remains informed of industry changes in these areas.

What You'll Do

  • Meet directly with clients. Negotiate and sell lines of insurance to clients. Design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management. Provide clients with full exposure analysis and review methods of handling risks. Work with the Producer to write new business accounts. Sell in place of or in coordination with Producer.
  • Lead accounts through the renewal process per department procedures. Market accounts to insurance carriers and wholesalers as needed.
  • Maintain records according to Agency standards, ensure that procedures are properly followed, and that information is properly documented and readily accessible.
  • Assist in developing strong relationships with insurance carrier personnel. Help develop carrier relationships by understanding and executing strategies aligned with carrier goals and objectives.
  • Train and direct technical support personnel including Account Representatives, Account Coordinators, or Analysts to meet duties and responsibilities.

What You'll Need

  • 3-5 years experience servicing Commercial Lines Insurance clients
