Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring client retention and supporting new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolve complex issues, and ensure accuracy and timely servicing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of account management experience (or 5+ years in insurance), active P&C licensing (CIC preferred), strong communication and analytical skills, and MS Office

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Proven knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and prepare submissions
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and maintain policy compliance
• Champion IOA values and demonstrate integrity
