Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to oversee a book of business, drive retention, and support growth. The role involves client service, policy analysis, and cross-functional coordination to resolve complex inquiries and ensure accurate renewals.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, an active P&C license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring accuracy in renewals and coverage.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; prepare submissions and negotiate coverages as needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy and timeliness.
